Cougar smirks at her very apt decision that they're arrogant. He'd add vain, but he also doesn't want to get too self-critical, because he's not thinking he's vain so much as knows what he looks like. It sounds like the friend of Hawke's would very much get along with Jake, if he's honest.

"Too much talk, sometimes," is what Cougar says, because he has a habit of putting his foot in his mouth when it comes to women, which usually makes the women not even consider him because of how much babbling and idiocy comes out of him.

Shame that Cougar's gotten to the point that he likes it.
