It was not on the short list of names that Reeve had learned at this point. Granted he'd rather quickly been greeted by paper and once Altair had suggested projects he'd sort of... lost the thread of meeting other residents.

"I admit I haven't gotten out of my own head very often beyond meals and walking the paths here in the village to evaluate construction styles. I haven't met anyone named Tony. But I consider myself quite fortunate to have made your acquaintance Miss Hawke."

He would have assumed the e, strangely enough. Hawk itself wasn't in line with naming conventions on his world.

Robotics? Well now he was smiling. "Robotics is effectively the art and science of turning lots of small gears, rods, electrical components and the like into machines. Except to do far more complicated tasks than, say, a mill. Imagine, if you will, an artificial arm of metal, where each finger could move and grip like a real finger. A real hand. Or, in my own realm of focus, an artificial feline that walks on its rear legs and can speak and interact with the world."
