Kat reached for the kitten, a soft smile pulling across her lips as she cradled the kitten in her arms. "Of course, I'm happy to take care of her." Her fingers lightly brush over the kitten's head as she settles it comfortably in her arms.

"I'll make sure to take it off and keep an eye on it for a few days." She'll also make sure that the kitten didn't hurt itself in the process of healing.

A pause.

"Would you like to come in for some tea?"
