Arrival
This was the last thing that Dick expected to be doing today. Not that he expected to do a lot of the things he'd just been doing that same day. So maybe Dick should be expecting the unexpected today. Or the last few days. Or the last few weeks--- okay, you know what, maybe Dick should just be expecting the unexpected. Waking up in freezing cold water? Check. Almost drowning in freezing cold water? Also check. Swimming upward as fast as he could, Dick was glad that he was able to hold his breath underwater for such a long time, even without anything from his utility pouches.
If there was any hope that it'd be a little bit warmer when he broke free from the water, Dick was sorely mistaken. Hauling himself out of the water, he sat on the edge of the fountain and took stock of where he was. And what he was wearing. All of the above made no sense to him, because this was most definitely not Gotham, and this was most definitely not the clothes he was wearing before he got here.
"Oooookay, Grayson, what did you get yourself into now?" Asks himself out loud, and even though it was cold, Dick took off his shirt to wring the water out of it.
Mice are Fantastic
The mice in this place were insane. Dick had been steadily following a few of them, just because they weren't anything he'd ever seen before. Sure, he'd seen mice before, and he'd seen rats (plenty of those in Gotham and... everywhere in the world, in every city, honestly), but these mice were almost pretty? And they kept turning things into ice. That's what he was following them for, because who heard of mice turning things into ice?
Not Dick, that was for certain. "This is so cool." He said with a grin, watching one of the mice turn a bucket into a frozen bucket full of frozen water. Unintentional pun for the win right there, which was why he was grinning. Crouching down on the ground, he set his pack down on the ground, which was a mistake, as a mouse ran over it and now everything he needed? In that pack? Was a block of ice.
"Shit." Waiting till the mouse was away, he picked up the block of ice pack and, trying to figure out the way to hold it and not freeze his hands off, he went to wherever he could find a fire to get everything out of that. It's not like he had fire powers that could help with this. Right?
Roof Time
In the right conditions, every roof was a good roof to be on. That was in the right conditions, like on a nice, spring night, with the wind cool and crisp but not cold enough that it froze through you. And no rain. Rain might be good for hiding in plain sight sometimes, but otherwise the rain got in your eyes, even with goggles on. Rain could be your friend, but snow? Snow was never your friend.
Especially on a roof. Which was why Dick was not on the roof of the inn just yet. He was going to get there, he was determined to get up there, but it was cold, and he wasn't wearing his suit. Still, he wanted to be up in the air. Maybe it wouldn't be as high as what he was used to, but he needed to be up there. It didn't matter if he slipped a little, he was used to that.
So he traveled to the side and began to climb up, scaling the building like a lizard.
Wildcard
Dick is everywhere he can be, exploring where there's people (especially if the place is warm).
