Seifer had the faintest idea that the cat was just taking her sweet time because she felt like it, as well. Like she knew they couldn't go ahead without her so she was basking in the power that gave her. Or maybe he was just assuming far too much of a peacat. Either way, they eventually made it to the inn, and thus relative safety.
