Bruce's hand shakes on the water glass so hard he nearly spills it, but he manages to keep it together. Every part of him hurts. He smiles faintly at her. "I know. You are a natural born hero that way." He never thought of himself as one. He wanted peace and quiet and to be left alone. He joined the Avengers for good reason, and he tried to do good things for humanity, but he didn't have the same drive other people did. He wanted to help with science and inventions, not as a brute force. He admires people who do have that urge though.
