"It does look like it, doesn't it?" There's a warmth to the words that isn't normally present. Not that she's always cold, just...it's different. It feels good, even though she knows it's artificial. Never look a gift horse in the mouth and all, and honestly a good mood is a gift right now, something to keep her focused on the here and now and not back in the village with all the sick people counting on them.

"It's almost too bright to be real. Like someone painted it." She turns it over in the light, a faint sheen reflecting off of the rainbow-hued surface. "I can't help wondering what the thing it came from must look like. What else is here on this island with us."
