The snake jerks within the bag, sending the thing swinging from Benedict's fists, but luckily, despite it almost assuredly trying to bite through its restraints, no fangs get close enough to his fingers for him to be worried. Perhaps not having any experience with the creatures will work out well for him, in the long run, as he doesn't know just how afraid of them he should be.
