Cougar doesn't think Jake is thinking about all the other practical aspects of what he could do, being a ghost. It would let you slide into things, give you access to places that you would normally have to break into.

True, he'll be very pissed if Jake got killed before they even got going, but he doesn't think that's what happened. "Healing springs," he says firmly, wishing he could get a hand on Jake. There's no panic, which is good, but only because he's shoving it away.
