As he eased himself to sit, he couldn't help a bit of amusement. This was the most he had heard his own name in forty years. He almost thought he had forgotten it amongst being called father, mentor, and old man. In fact, he added, "I have been called many things, not all of them complimentary. To be called my name is a welcome change. Can I assume that 'Dorian' is your given name?"

The name itself sounded Roman, he thought. And the Romans had made their own impact in the Holy Land. Was it possible that this man was from a time before his own? Hm.
