"That would help, wouldn't it," Vanille muses thoughtfully. "Maybe the schoolhouse has chalkboards." That's the only thing she can think of that would help. Well, paper and pencils would, but to her knowledge, they don't have many of either. So chalkboards might be the only thing they have to work with, unfortunately.

She smiles at his last words and shakes her head. "You sound like Fang. I think that's just smart logic." Besides, if they're going on chronological age, she's at least 500, even if she doesn't look, act, or feel it. Age is relative anyway.
