He nodded, gaining some perspective from what she said. "I can respect the ideals of ownership. We had shepherds who kept their flocks separately, hostlers who tended their own sets of horses. But I haven't seen any true creatures I would call beasts of burden. Oxen. Horses. Donkeys. Anything that would pull a cart or wagon." Or even, he thought, carts or wagons to be pulled. Plows, or larger gardens. His concerns mounted the more he thought.
