Worry and pity are two very different things, but Jessica so often confuses them that Frank isn't even vexed at her apparent annoyance. He always does or says something wrong when he's around her, it's the only constant he still has, and it's oddly comforting as much as he wishes he could just crush the last of the bad blood between them.
