Circumspect has never been a strong suit for Ashley. She's used to bullying her way in, kicking butt, and getting the information needed. Sneaky for her usually ends with taking down something, but doesn't always work well for her.

So far she hasn't learned much either, and that is as frustrating as anything else about this place.

Turning her head slowly, at least glad it isn't a familial voice behind her, she sets the pen against the pages of the book.

"All we can do but try and play grasshoppers before winter, isn't it? I mean, I'm new kid out of the fountain, but that seems to be the consensus." Smiling though as she says it. "Besides, people watching is fun and informative."
