"They'll probably remake it soon enough. That's how it goes nowadays, and you'll see." Ty said with a grin, before nudging Jake with his leg, solemn. "You would go for Mary Ann."

But it just meant more prima donna, high maintenance, and beautiful women for Ty then. He definitely was going to complain.

"Look, no one would beat you up." Ty said with conviction even though he couldn't guarantee it. "We'd find some way to get it back up and running and maybe we'd learn from it. No harm, no foul. But just to be safe, I guess it'd be better to wait for the summer." Where cooking without a stove would be easier.

While it good to know Jake was on the same page as him, it did make him wary to think about what things could be tossed at them. From whoever had brought them here or the people already here. "Have you met anyone here you don't trust?"

Which was probably a stupid question to ask someone he had just met, but Ty had a good feeling from Jake. He didn't think he was the type of person who would betray others.
