"Yeah well..." He shrugs, not sure he believes that but knowing that he'll still stand by Cougar and just be happy with having him in his life until he's not. Oh wait, Jake's in this place and Cougar's not, but he's not focusing on that now.

He laughs at that though. "Yeah, kind of like this. And yeah..." He makes a face, rolling his eyes. "It's awful. I could do more with a Commodore Sixty-Four," he says, frustration in his tones. "I tried finding backdoors, any way through their system, and there's nothing. I just... I can't even figure it out. It's driving me nuts," he admits, wincing and being a bit sorry for ranting in that moment. "Sorry. Just... it's nuts."
