"It's all theory, so I couldn't say for certain, but the multiverse can exist with all of these facts. The idea is that there's a parallel universe for every possible change, so there could be a world where you were taken away to here and no one ever saw you again. Just as a version of you stayed on earth in mine could exist at the same time. There's an infinite amount of possibilities." Bruce knew a great deal about string theory and the branches and connections it went to, so the multiverse was somewhere on his broad spectrum of interests.

"Sorry, honestly even if all of this is true, theorizing doesn't help us with the reality." There were no solutions within the multiverse that he was aware of that could transport them from one place to another. Or was there? Hm. Thoughts for another day. "What's happening to us right now is what matters." He listened to her and tapped a finger on his chin, stewing in it for a moment. "You were in a simulation but now the simulation is real." Or is it? It could be a simulation inside of a simulation. He had to stop before he fried his brain too quickly.
