It has taken a few days for Foggy to get everything together and a few more to get the work done and smoothed out to the point that his hands can't pick up anything like splinters or ridges.

It's not perfect. It will have to do.

He carries his newly made gift carefully as he goes over the Matt's place and knocks on the door. He saw Elektra wandering off somewhere—presumably because she knew that Matt was planning on spending the day with Foggy—which gives him a bit more confidence that he's not going to have another awkward conversation.
