It also gives her a bit more information about the place - she still might not have any real idea about where she is (and the answer she does get isn't terribly helpful) - but she knows there's at least a fountain somewhere nearby. Assuming that Peggy didn't do so somewhere else, of course, but in absence of any evidence to the contrary she figures that it's as good a place to start, anyway.
That they're in a bunker, meanwhile, suggests the possibility of military involvement at some point. That or it's been repurposed from some sort of military usage, but that's something she can work on figuring out later. When she has a better idea of who to speak to about that sort of thing.
