Once he’s settled safely inside the tube she places her palm on the glass again, in the same spot as last time. Maybe that matters and maybe it doesn’t, but she’s not taking any chances. The tube shoots up once more, making her flinch. But they make it up and out in one piece so she decides not to stress it.
