In her right mind, Kamala wouldn't fall for this. She can barely think clearly enough to talk Owen into joining her rather than fighting him. He seems to be giving into her so she sees no reason why she can't wait a minute. The cool water isn't going anywhere. It'll be sweeter if she can share this with him.
