It had taken a bit of time to collect herself as much as she was going to. With her animals secured in the jail again and her home still intact, she went around the village to check on the others, needing to occupy herself rather than stay idle and dwell on what happened. If she stood still for a moment and let the silence take her, she would break. It was there at the back of her mind, threatening to rear itself.
