huh. so we're doing this again, eh?

WHO: Logan Howlett
WHERE: Fountain, House #60, Inn
WHEN: July 9th and 10th
OPEN TO: All
WARNINGS: He's Logan, considered yourselves warned

Arrival Day; Fountain - One volunteer for fountain, otherwise OTA

In the midst of it happening, Logan felt the feeling of déjà vu; his mind remembering the sensation of water surrounding. But given his very last memories of what had occurred and the whirlwind of anger and pain and confusion of a place and people he shouldn't know but did make his arrival a rather loud one.

He grunts while trying to catch his breath and looks around with a defensive look that conveyed that the man was clearly unpredictable and needed to be approached with caution, though it doesn't take too long for him to finally get on his feet and take a look around with something of familiarity.

Later in the evening, he could be found sitting on the step of his newly claimed house trying to collect his thoughts and figure out the past, present and what was going on in his future. As well as where his last visit to the settlement fit into it all.

Around and at the Inn - OTA

Any kind of rest didn't include much sleep. As always, he woke up after a nightmare, metal claws out and shredded sheets on either side of him. This time, he was letting out a pained holler when they didn't. There was only intense pressure that made both hands ache like they never had before.

So he grabs the white shirt that he'd changed into earlier that day and sets out for a walk, eventually ending up at the inn where he grumbles through making a cup of something and sits down.

He could really use a cigar and a glass of something strong right now.

Bela had taken it upon herself to volunteer at the fountain today for two reasons. Firstly, to show that she could contribute and secondly, it gave her something to do. Simple enough to grab a few towels to help the new arrival dry off and welcome them to their new home. She's hoping that there won't be any hostility, but Bela hasn't come unarmed. Aside from essential supplies, she brought a heavy stick and a kitchen knife; hopefully it would be sufficient.

Soon enough, someone emerges from the fountain and Bela hangs back from her vantage point, waiting to see if they needed any help.

Well, it looked like he didn't.

She does take a few cautionary steps towards the man with a towel tucked beneath her right arm and her other arm raised in a non-threatening manner. Nice and easy. No sudden movements.

"Hey," Bela calls softly out to the man before stopping a comfortable distance away from him. "I've got a towel you can use."

Maintaining that distance between them, Bela keeps her arm in the air and doesn't advance upon him. She felt that same confusion before when she first arrived and didn't know where she was. Bela remembered the way she reacted to Margaery who was only trying to offer her aid, the distrust she felt towards her.

If he needed some time to adjust, Bela would grant him it.

"You're just outside what is called the village - it doesn't really have a name. No one knows precisely where we are, but I am not here to hurt you." Bela assures in a friendly voice, trying to put him at ease; it is for her own benefit as well. She doesn't want to give Logan a reason to act aggressively.

Hopefully her people skills would work in her favour right now.

His behaviour leads her to think that he is still disorientated from his arrival. Better to let Logan get it out of his system before offering to show him the way to the village.

She just hoped that he was ready to move while there was remaining daylight.

When he puts that question out there, Bela takes a moment to think about what Logan was trying to get at - even when he wasn't looking at her right now.

"There's a house with the number 58 on it - is it possible that you might have been here before and forgot about it?"

Not wanting to let his attitude get to her, Bela counts to five in her head before replying.

"Like I said before, people just call this place the village. No one knows exactly where we are, and the ones who brought us here haven’t revealed a name either."

It didn't matter where she was. All Bela wanted was a chance to go home.

"You can be as suspicious as you like but standing there dripping wet isn't going to do you any favours."
