"I did." He came at a time when she needed a friendly face. With so many people leaving the village, seeing someone return reminded her that it was possible. Not everyone was gone for good and sometimes the Observers weren't done with a person yet. With the loss of Robb fresh, Logan was enough to make her smile, even if only a little.

She pulled her shawl tighter around her, holding herself together in this way. "You remember everything." That was never a guarantee she found.
