Holding Danny's gaze, Steve nods. Making Danny his partner that day had been a leap of faith for Steve but there had been so much about Danny, and how they met, that had made leaping easy. He trusted his SEAL team, but no where near to the same degree that he trusted Danny. The SEALs had Steve's back, Danny had his entire life. Steve trusted, and relied upon, him implicitly.
