For as much as Claire wishes she can rest everyone's mind about her health, there is nothing she can tell them. She feels like her insides are trying to claw their way out of her belly and there's nothing to stop it from happening. At least that's what she dreamed of during the little spans of sleep she managed to get regardless of the pain she was in.
But seeing Mulcahy when he comes in helps more than he probably would believe, had she told him. Claire is on her side, with her knees drawn up. It's not the best position but it's the one that keeps her the most comfortable.
"I suppose I should be honest with you especially," she replies, smiling a little despite how she feels. "Not very good. And it bothers me that I can't self-diagnose. Or shouldn't."
