"It would be safer for us to keep a water source close at hand." Though she hoped that if they were to lead a stream, it would be one that would lead them straight back to the village. "The sun will be at its height soon and the walk will be hard for us. I don't want to go thirsty."

They at least all seemed to be experienced in the outdoors. There were no frilly ladies that would melt at the first sign of hardship. They might be able to push themselves as long as possible without needing to rest for long.
