"I worked in masonry and ironmongering," Raleigh says. "But I've done a good job with roofs since I've been here and I don't think it'd be that hard to learn how to do some carpentry. If you have some idea of how these things are supposed to look, I can probably do the work or help you do it."

It would make fishing a hell of a lot easier to have actual boats to do it in.

"I've just been fishing from the shoreline all this time. We'd do better with boats and nets."
