Being able to share a moment of physical comfort in the wake of whatever most recent inconvenience the Observers happen to have thrown their way will definitely be a help. Not that they haven't already managed to find ways to commiserate and offer physical comfort as needed, but he can't deny that the more intimate aspects of even just physically sharing a bed with someone will help all the more as well. Still, it's not something that he means to spend any great amount of time considering, just at the moment. Whatever happens to come of this will develop in its own time, and just at the moment, he's perfectly glad to simply take things one day at a time.

And it does take less having to go back and forth than using her room, as he might have been inclined to suggest otherwise.
