"I thought bears were supposed to hibernate," is Kira's I watched a documentary once contribution, and the extent of his knowledge on literal bears. It's difficult to wrap his head around the wildlife until he remembers magic boxes containing puppies and goat deliveries: the canyon feels too small to house multiple bears, but who knows what forces put them here, or how much better they are at slipping out.
