There's a fairly deep cut that Claire is trying to put a few sutures in that runs an inch or so up from the outer edge of her brow. The hand on her injured arm is shaking pretty bad which makes tying it off a challenge, so when Kira arrives and offers his help, the nurse doesn't object. She's done being independent for one day.

"Can you do sutures?" Claire asks him, peering past the both arms that were attempting a stitch. Then again, it didn't matter if he did, or didn't, she needed his help.
