Mary also had the plan to disappear. She wanted to go back home but she didn't want to leave her brother here either. Her brother had been intent to show her how to do some basic things like start a fire but Mary was not all that interested to learn. Least not yet, anyways.

"Yet? Don't say that too loud that it's taken as a challenge." Mary gave a small grin, teasing Clary. "The only winters I've known is what I see in tv shows and movies. I mean, it has snowed in Hawaii before but it's nothing like this." She also missed the sounds to the city and the hustle and bustle of it. The quiet that was in this village was deafening.

"I was stuck in a house for the duration of the storm. I guess it could have been worse." Both she and her brother made it out in one piece. The McGarrett siblings adored each other and they'd do anything for the other but being trapped in the closed quarters of their house had given her some cabin fever. "It's not all that bad out there considering. There's a hot springs here?"
