minus1twin: (Sad)

Wanda remained silent through his explanation. She had no reason to believe him. There was only that empty feeling inside of her that had once been filled with... something. Her grip on the bottle of liquor tightened until her knuckles turned white from the strain.

"My brother is dead?" The other details were noted and filed away but they felt insignificant compared to the fate of her brother. She felt that empty piece of her heart ache from the lost memory.

This place might be able to fuck with her mind but it can't change those lingering feelings left inside of her. When he brother had died, a piece of her died with him. There was no giving that back, even with the memory of his death taken from her. It was that piece of information that told Wanda that Bucky was telling her the truth.

That was enough.

She wanted to be mad but she didn't know who to blame. She couldn't remember. Instead she was left with her sadness and the bottle that was clasped tightly in her hand.
