Moana listened attentively as Oliver began to explain. The first part she knew but no one had been able to explain how the plants were able to survive when they were only surrounded by glass. Moana didn't have glass on her island and had only been introduced to it here. After inspecting a window at the inn she couldn't figure out how the glass could keep it the heat, it was always colder near the windows.
"A little. It's just..." She looked over at the glass panels and then finally at Oliver. "Is the sun really able to keep them warm when its cold outside? Why don't we live in glass houses then? If it's warmer." There were so many reasons why that didn't work.
"Winter is confusing." Moana announced with a frown. Her island had two seasons: when it was sunny and hurricane season.
