He's sharply aware of the heat from Jude's hand, though he hasn't yet worked his way to the fact that he's keeping Jude from security and warmth right now. He'll be guilty about that in a bit, but now he just focuses on the fact that Jude is warm and real and cares about him. Because maybe that'll make the crawling, trapped, ugly sensation go away, the one he's never felt from Jude's careful touches before. Everything is too close to the surface. He can't help it. Even Jude doesn't feel safe when stolen memories and the violation that goes with it are so close.
