Steve couldn't help but to smile at his sister at hearing that she hadn't taken anything for the plane ride home. Before she'd left she'd told him that she would try and this was evidence to him that she was making an effort.

With a nod, he shrugs. "It doesn't. I've been here a month and I'm still trying to figure it all out. Those here have ideas, but it seems like whoever brought us here, they're not sharing much." Noticing her actions he reaches to take the knapsack from her. "Have you looked in here yet? You have dry clothes and a warm coat in there." He'd be happy to stand guard while she changed.

"Being a lab rat is no way to make extra cash." He really hoped his sister had never been desperate enough to try that, especially those with drugs involved. "As for here, I don't think we have a choice in the matter, but I do plan on getting us the hell out of here. It just might take a bit of time."
