So, probably not walking the dog as any kind of favor: the dog might be walking him. Jude doesn't dig in to the hows or whys of it--some weeks Parker didn't sleep either, or Charlie would save it all up until his next day off and sleep for sixteen hours straight. Without a nightmare to wake him, Jude sleeps just fine. He has to imagine what chases a person day and night.
