Still leaned into the door, Jude waits out the reaction, looking idly up the molding of the door. None of that really answers the question: as far as he knows, no one can fix that for the guy, especially himself. Eventually the beggars and choosers logic seems to sink in, and he gets something he can work with.

"I don't know, they don't have a lot of stuff, nice as some of it is. Most people just look for an empty place to keep themselves fed and clean without tripping over anyone else.
Pointing the length of the pipe back over his shoulder at the tub, he adds, "It's a bit of a wait for the bathroom at the inn, and all."
