Peggy winces when the woman manages to step on one of the peaches, which has been on the riper side of things. It's a good thing that the boots are hardly high fashion, as Peggy can only imagine stepping on one of those in her heels. "Sorry," she says, with an apologetic look on her face, though she does feel as if that reaction is a bit much for one fallen peach.
She bends to pick up some of the others that have toppled out so that it won't happen again. "If you want, I've got a few towels we can use to wipe off the worst of the juice," she offers. "We can give them a good scrubbing later."
