Clary only showed off her work when prompted too. She did like seeing other peoples work, but her reaction and level of excitement varied from person to person. Being stuck in the middle of who-knows-where with no way to get back made her more interested in Jude's work; more than she might have been back home.

"Not saying it is possible or anything but I did just appear through a fountain which is like the start of a really strange hero's tale type of thing and I wouldn't put it past this place." She wasn't particularly interested in another journey, there were things she had to do back home.
