"I could use a little boring." The words were out of Clary's mouth before she could stop them. Ever since she found out about the Shadowhunter world it had been one thing after another. She hadn't had time to stop and breathe, she shouldn't be taking her time now but from how Isabelle explained it, there wasn't too much to be done that wasn't a long term effort. It bothered Clary to sit still. Doing small things was better than doing nothing.

"It does." She agreed with a small smirk. "I can't imagine anyone with the CDC being gloomy, you just work with things that kill people all day."

Clary was used to it, Shadowhunters are gloomy too.
