Her sketches were messy, smudging her attempts at capturing the small details and lines of the plants. No matter how hard she tried to keep her hand steady, her fingers seemed to blue what she had managed to draw before. Without charcoal, she was no better than Sisyphus, pushing a great stone up a hill before it rolled to the bottom once more. So close to her goal, yet still so far.
