"You were military?" she reads into his words and tries to pry out the most useful piece of information. "So was I, a lifetime ago, but I understand what it's like to have your uniform and purpose taken away," Peggy assures him to try and diffuse the situation a little before things can get that tense.

"Kylo, right?" she says. "If you are right and it is malicious, wouldn't it make sense that the people who did that to us have a vested interest in ensuring we're well and kidnapped? Perhaps they're here." And she would much rather have something to investigate and assault than an idea, so she has to hope that her hunch is right.
