"I've spent some time in the area," Raleigh agrees. "Just recently came from Hong Kong but before that, I was up in Alaska, the Anchorage area? Seems a little warm for that here, though."

Raleigh's best guess would be Washington or Oregon, based on what he knows about the area from his traveling, and he wonders how the hell he'd have gotten here from Hong Kong. It's the opposite side of the world.
