He frowns and stares at her, almost incredulous, as he tries to figure out exactly what is going on. "What are you playing at?" he barks it almost like an order, a demand at answers because this reality didn't match up with his expectations. He's cautious, never entirely sure what to expect-- from her or what new things these universes tended to throw in their directions. Everything in this moment was utterly unpredictable.
